Nkwanda is one of the founders and incorporators of the Cultural Arts Coalition. The Cultural Arts Coalition provides the 5th Avenue Arts Festival, Environmental Ambassadors, a summer youth employment program, Girl Power, an afterschool program for at-risk girls, and other ongoing projects.

This chair, which I have had for more than 5 years, is my favorite, because it's where I have made money decisions, received good news and have talked to many wonderful people by phone and in person. My work is a driving force in my life, therefore; I have experienced much joy and satisfaction from this chair.
