I fell in love with my duck chair when I first laid eyes on it in a furniture store in my hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina. I had to have it! I'm not sure whether it was the long, slim neck (which I've always wanted), the graceful lines, or the gilding that attracted me most. Although I had a very difficult time getting it to Gainesville, it was well worth the effort because when I sit in this chair, I feel "just ducky".
