and I had to borrow a chair to express what being a "chair" is all
about for me. My favorite sitting place has nothing to do with a
chair - it's on the end of a dock, watching gators, waterbirds,
and all the typical Florida wildlife that is becoming so "untypical"
as time goes on. Whenever I can get there, it reminds me what matters
most in the fight against over-development. But most of all, it
helps to calm the stresses of the day. It's like living in a John
Moran photograph, or the famous Otis Redding song, so peaceful and
serene, if only for 10 minutes. I lose some of the stress of that
other "chair".
